Mr. Haidar founded StonePine Capital Partners following a career that spanned 18 years in private equity, principal investing and advisory services in the MENA region and Europe.
Youssef’s career spans over 22 years in private equity, principal investing and advisory services in the MENA region and Europe with a primary focus on the healthcare sector. Acting as founder, co-founder or lead-investor, Youssef has invested in and supported the regional growth of 8 leading regional and international healthcare companies and has realized multiple high profile exits in the healthcare and education fields.
Youssef founded StonePine Capital Partners in 2016, and subsequently co-founded Nexus Gulf Healthcare (an ever-green healthcare focused investment company). He continues to lead both organizations today. Prior to founding SPCP, Mr. Haidar was the Partner, Managing Director, investment committee member and shareholder of TVM Capital Healthcare Partners where he was the major driver of the firm’s success in the Middle East region. During his tenure, Mr. Haidar raised and managed two MENA focused funds and syndicated capital in number of portfolio companies.
Prior to TVM, Mr. Haidar was the Managing Director and head of investments at Unifund Capital, an Abu Dhabi central bank licensed investment firm and JV partner of Unifund Capital Group (Geneva, Switzerland). Mr. Haidar started his career in 1999 at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was part of the corporate finance and recovery advisory services of the firm in London (UK/Europe) and Beirut (MENA coverage).

Mr. Haidar holds a Masters of Finance and Accounting from Kingston University in London (UK) and is a Certified Public Accountant from the New Hampshire Board of Accountancy (USA). He is a frequent speaker at global conferences which focus on private equity investments in the Middle East region.

Mr. Al Zarooni is the founder and CEO of Al Zarooni Emirates Investments LLC, one of the prominent family offices in the U.A.E.
Mr. Al Zarooni has 16 years of experience in executive management, investments, sales, and IT security. He holds directorship positions in firms in the sectors of financial services, health care, logistics, media, real estate and more.
Mr. Al Zarooni founded the family office, Al Zarooni Emirates Investments LLC, in 2009 and has been the CEO from the inception.
He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Etisalat College of Engineering, and an MBA from the American University of Sharjah and is pursuing a Ph.D. in the subject of institutionalizing family businesses.

Mr. Al Garem has over 25 years of experience in various senior management roles.
Mr. Al Garem is the Vice Chairman of SSL Holding and the Chief Executive Officer of Al Islami. Mr. Al Garem has over 25 years of experience in various senior management roles. He held senior positions at Pepsi Co and Beirsdorf AG, working across European, US and Middle Eastern markets. Mr. Al Garem is a board director in various companies that include logistics, insurance and real estate. He is a BBA graduate from New York University and is an MBA graduate from Pace University.

Mr. Sahyoun is the co-founder of W&P and has built an expertise in asset management over more than a quarter century of professional investment experience.
Mr. Sahyoun is the Managing Partner of W&P, a Geneva based wealth management firm, with a presence in Monaco and Beirut. He co-founded the company in 2013 with his partners and grew it to become a multi-family office servicing clients in Europe and the Middle East. The firm offers family office services, portfolio management as well as direct investments in real estate and private equity.
Prior to that, he worked with the Olayan Group for 21 years in Athens and London, investing globally in financial markets and building an expertise in asset management. In 2008, he moved to Riyadh with Olayan to head private equity investments in the MENA region where he spent 4 years before moving on to co-found W&P. Sari holds a B.S. in Business and Economics from the Beirut University College.
Mr. Sahyoun today sits on various Boards of Companies in Europe and the Middle East.
StonePine ACE ICC
Mr. El Halwagy is the co-founder of ACE & Company and leads the firm’s global private equity secondary activity and the group’s MENA focused direct investments.
Sherif is a director and co-founder of ACE & Company. Mr. Halwagy co-founded ACE & Company in 2005. Sherif leads the firm’s global private equity secondary activity and the group’s MENA focused direct investments. Sherif is actively involved in ACE’s macro asset allocation and theme-driven investments selection. Previously, while based in the Geneva office, Sherif was responsible for managing an emerging market's equities book, spanning Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. Sherif has a B.Sc. in Business Management from Babson College.

Adam Said is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the ACE & Company. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors, he is Chair of ACE’s Executive Committee and a member of the Investment Committee. Since founding ACE, he has overseen the execution of over fifty direct investment transactions and managed several public portfolios for investors.

Mr. Lootah is the holder of multiple senior positions and board directorships in local and regional companies.
Mr. Lootah is the Chairman at Lootah Holding and an Executive Director at the S.S. Lootah Group. Mr. Lootah is the holder of multiple senior positions and board directorships in local and regional companies including being a board director of Amlak Finance PJSC since 2004 and a Member of Executive Committee of Dubai Economic Council since 2008. Mr. Lootah is a graduate in Islamic Banking from the Islamic School for Training & Education. Mr. Lootah is also an Alumni of IMD Switzerland and of Harvard Business School.

Mr. Al Angari is the Chairman of Nexus Gulf and Vice Chairman of Al Gihaz Holding, a multimillion dollar holding, encompassing several companies.
Mr. Al Angari is the Vice Chairman of Al Gihaz Holding. Once small Saudi contracting firm, established in 1975, it has now grown into a multimillion dollar holding, encompassing several companies. Al Gihaz Holding prides itself for quality products and services. Its energy business extends from high-voltage transmission to low-voltage distribution and Power Horizon focuses on telecom and value-added services. An industry business unit (SEP) produces electrical control panels, PRECO does Electro-Mechanical Contracting and a consulting arm JAWDA Engineering provides consulting services. Stars Horizon strives to enhance people’s life through medical services, and a real estate development business extends beyond Saudi Arabia to the entire region.

Mr. Baroukh brings a wealth of experiences from living in 7 countries across 4 continents to the SPCP team.
Mr. Baroukh has over 8 years of advisory and principal investments experience across emerging markets with particular focus in the Middle East. He started his career in Dubai in strategy consulting at Booz & Company where he advised regional and international organizations in the Baning, Utilities, Technology and Healthcare sectors. He later joined TVM Capital, a healthcare-focused private equity firm, where he managed the firm’s investment efforts in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Mr. Baroukh holds a bachelor degree with distinction from HEC Montreal, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Hamdan brings a strong investment background and an entrepreneurial mind set to the team.
Mr. Hamdan has over 15 years of private equity, investing and corporate finance experience in the MENA region. He joined StonePine Capital Partners in 2018 as a Principal on the team.
Prior to SPCP, Mr. Hamdan was a Principal at TVM Capital Healthcare Partners working on deals screening and due diligence, fundraising roadshows, portfolio management, and exit strategies. Prior to TVM, he worked in the corporate finance and transaction services units at Ernst & Young where he advised clients in the GCC, the Levant and North Africa.
Mr. Hamdan holds an MBA from the American University of Beirut.

Fouad Aoun has over 8 years of advisory and operational experience in the Middle East and Africa.
He started his career in strategy consulting at Bain & Company in Dubai and Johannesburg. He later joined MercyCorps Social Ventures - a social impact venture capital - as a Harvard Leadership Fellow working on post investment support in East Africa.
In 2016, Fouad transitioned full time to NewLight Africa, one of the fund's investee, that focuses on distributing and financing clean energy products in Kenya. At NewLight Africa, Fouad took on the role of Chief Operating Officer working on turning around the company's operations, fundraising, and strategy.
Fouad Aoun holds a bachelor degree with high distinction from the American University of Beirut, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ms El Skaff has significant advisory experience in the middle east with a focus on Real Estate and Healthcare
With a Bachelor in Biology and a Masters in Health Management and Policy, Ranime started her career supporting private hospitals in getting JCI accreditation before joining McKinsey in Dubai.
During her consulting years, Ranime has worked on multiple projects for the healthcare and real estate practice from planning a city with healthcare focus to designing and implementing crisis response for health ministries in pandemic times.
Ranime also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School
